Nascondi le Cose Lontane

Alcuni versi della poesia "Nebbia" di Giovanni Pascoli:

"Nascondi le cose lontane, tu nebbia impalpabile e scialba, tu fumo che ancora rampolli, su l'alba, da' lampi notturni e da' crolli d'aeree frane! ...

Nascondi le cose lontane, nascondile, involale al volo del cuore! Ch'io veda il cipresso là, solo, qui, solo quest'orto, cui presso sonnecchia il mio cane".

Questa è una fotografia scattata in un freddo mattino di fine dicembre 2015 in Val d'Orcia, nella rinomata location del Podere Belvedere nelle vicinanze del borgo di San Quirico.

Come nella poesia del Pascoli, la nebbia scopre le cose più vicine, quelle che voglio vedere e nasconde alla vista le cose lontane, i ricordi che provocano dolore.

La nebbia è una barriera che ci protegge dalle sofferenze del passato e ci mostra solo la semplicità delle cose quotidiane.
