Sorano Village at Sunset

The village of Sorano in the Maremma hinterland is known for the particularity of rising on a tufa cliff. Also, the buildings in the historic center are made with this rock of volcanic origin.

A city of Etruscan origin, it offers a fantastic profile for photography at sunset, as in this shot.

In fact, in specific periods of the year, the sun sets right on the village's skyline, between the imposing Fortezza Orsini on one side and the Masso Leopoldino on the other.
