Ponte Vecchio Blue Hour
Cod:
#c4449
I photographed the Ponte Vecchio after sunset in the so-called blue hour. When the blue of the twilight blends with the yellow and orange of the city lights in a wonderful harmony. Ponte Vecchio, which in English means old bridge, is an architecture of over 1000 years ago and up to 1200 it was the only bridge that crossed the Arno in Florence. Its peculiarity is that it has shops, called botteghe in Italian, which were built by the municipality in the thirteenth century to recover construction costs. Over the centuries it has been damaged by floods and rebuilt several times.
