Umbria

The Umbria region, due to its location in the center of the Italian peninsula and its lush natural landscapes, is called "The Green Heart of Italy". But this splendid territory is also very rich in culture, traditions, and wonderful religious architecture. Its cities and its splendid villages are invaded by tourists from all over the world and it is not easy for a photographer to find the right moments to capture the architectural wonders of Umbria.

The city of Assisi is undoubtedly the richest in wonderful photographic locations. I let myself be inspired by the fabulous Basilica of San Francesco, an architectural masterpiece of 1200, with which I tried to play with the light of the autumn sunset and its fantastic architectural details.

Even the villages of Spoleto, Spello, and Trevi offer extraordinary views, and personally, in addition to the classic shots of medieval squares, churches, and alleys, I like to combine the city views with natural elements characteristic of these territories such as the olive trees or the mists of the valley floors.
