Tuscan Cities
Tuscany is captivating, not only for its countryside landscapes, but also for the views of its historical cities.
Who does not know the splendid Florence's stunning skyline, full of stunning medieval churches and stately monuments such as the Palazzo Vecchio, Ponte Vecchio bridge, and its captivating Duomo? I can feel the grandeur and the deep history that these monuments embody. Everywhere I turn, there is a moment to capture with my camera, making my heart skip a beat.
Then there is Siena, a breathtaking Tuscan hilltown lined with narrow alleys, and the beautiful Piazza del Campo, surrounded by the magnificent Mangia Tower. The pale golden stone of the iconic monument stands tall against the sky's deep blue, casting impressive shadows across the Piazza.
Pisa is the world-famous Leaning Tower and the Piazza dei Miracoli landmark. But also Lungarno, with the Ponte di Mezzo bridge, offers fantastic views. The bridge arcs gracefully over the River Arno, glinting in the afternoon sun and providing the perfect picture-taking opportunity.
Lucca is an incredible place full of life and history. Towering walls surrounded by green foliage welcome you to the old city center. As you wander through the quaint streets, it is a must to visit the picturesque oval piazza dell'anfiteatro.
Lastly, the colorful Livorno, a vibrant coastal town with beautiful beaches, promenades, and the magnificent Mascagni's Terrace. As the sun begins to set, the sky turns golden, and I am in awe of the Tuscan sky and the brilliant photos it can create.
