My black and white photography seeks effectiveness and simplicity through technical perfection and the search for elegance in the forms of the landscape, nature, and architecture. In both my more formal - Japan and Water ² - and more conceptual series - Terraces and Lunar -, the purpose of my photography is to extract the real, the soul, the memory, and the pure form of things.
My color work has a more documentary purpose. Even for my color images, stylistic perfection is the heart of my photography and I pursue it with a maniacal search for the best light conditions, the study of the territory, and atmospheric conditions. For this reason, most of my galleries focus on the landscape of Italy and in particular of Tuscany, the region where I live.
